Dave Meyer, MA

Dave Meyer has over 30 years of experience in implementing integrated environmental, health and safety management  systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS, pollution prevention, process efficiency evaluation, sustainable supply chain procurement, water and energy efficiency evaluation, permitting and multi-media compliance, and “due diligence” auditing. His focus is to assist organizations to proactively maximize financial, natural and social capital through improving environmental performance, implement creative thinking, realize organizational accountability, and achieve profitable growth. Mr. Meyer is a Co-founder of the Southern California Public Sector EMS Practitioners Forum (a key catalyst for the San Diego Regional Sustainability Partnership) and a participant in Portland Business Alliance sustainability efforts.  He has also held adjunt faculty positions at the University of California (San Diego) in the areas of environmental sustainability and business management.  Mr. Meyer is a graduate of Colorado State University in Forestry and Natural resources and holds a Masters of Arts degree from Denver University in Environmental Policy.  Mr. Meyer is based in the Portland (Oregon) area.  You may follow him on Twitter (drmeyer1).
